There was a couple of struggles we faced in the editing of footage in our news package.Several of our most important filler shots were saved on one hard drive and the actual edited news prackage file was saved on another.
Luckily we figured out a way to move the files over from one drive to another by finding the original seperate clips, then putting it on a usb to transfer it into the drive so we could access it in our actual adobe premiere news project file.

Importing Voice Over to News Package
This lesson me and jasmine have been importing the voice over to our news package. Due to Shahram not being in for medical reasons me. Along side the voice over we are also importing the press red sign I created a while back. We are also inserting some filler shots into our news package to cover up areas which are a bit wobbly.

Recording with Group
Last week me, Shahram and Jasmine went out to london bridge to record our news package footage. We had to record specific areas for our news package which were areas such as interviewing smokers which we have successfully accomplished along with other parts of areas we had to record.

Filming: Professional Interview
We decided on having 2 interviews in our news package. One person with a personal account, so in this case a parent, then a professional perspective.
Shahram and I went to visit the actor for this section. I set up the camera at a mid shot angle and following the rule of three, I directed the actor to face away from and to ignore the camera ad if talking directly to a person.
The mise en scene for this scene had the actor wearing professional formal clothing in a GP/office space.
I then filmed a shot to put before the actual reply to the news topic. I postitioned the camera to film a two-person scene with Shahram posing as a medical patient talking to a doctor, to put over the introductory voice over and to portray what the 'doctor's' profession involves, which is talking/advising young people.

Variety of short shots.
Hi there, long time no post! I just thought I'd update you on our filming status. Over the winter break I filmed several shots outdoors of young people smoking, cigarette packets and lighters and cigarettes.
Also I did more filming for the title sequence as the group decided we needed more shots to fill up another one of the picadilly circus screens.
We're still in the process of doing our main footage and more variety of filler shots. So I'll keep you more up to date once I've got more to show you.
