Right, so today we plan to actually film our footage for our title sequence as we have cameras availible and are lucky to finally get our ideal weather for outdoor filming. Unfortunately as I am ill, I will not be able to take part in the filming process.
So Sharam and Akin are going to film the Picadilly circus scenery, this will require:
- a camera and a tripod, to keep the camera still in the same perfect spot throughout the whole of filming.
- finding the perfect angle and shot of the iconic picadilly circus screens, whilst capturing the skyline and some sort of visual of live action of movement in London (eg. public walking around, lights and traffic.)
- filming (ideally) for 6 hours from 3pm-9pm to capture the transition and transformation from day time to night.
and then they are going to take another camera to film some shots and clips of anything london based and news worthy to fufil the illusion of our news 'channel' to put in the Picadilly screens, from filler shots, footage of correspondents and vox pops/interviews. Then I can do my part and layer the footage together back at school as I am in charge with editing.
